The "wine merchant" was at the time the expression used to designate the person who sells wines. Later and up to today, this name is also used for “well established", shops that offer wine and spirits.

Our "Wine Merchant" is a piece of furniture, and it is the most emblematic of our collection.

It is a counter, a sideboard, a bookcase... it is versatile. It has multiple functions: to present the wine in majesty on the upper part; to store the wine for a large capacity on the lower part; to place or arrange various bottles, boxes, cartons or objects on its large solid wood top. It is intended to be practical, aesthetic and "sellable", within the framework of an installation within a professional space.

It is offered with an optional configuration, known as initial: classic shelves (horizontal, for bottles in a dedicated housing; or in mass storage, bottles stacked on top of each other); glass racks shelves, for storing and displaying stemmed glasses; or metal plates, allowing bottles or various objects to be placed upright.

At the same time a large bottle rack, a storage cellar and an ageing cellar, this wine cabinet combines design furniture with the constraints and practicality expected of an authentic bottle rack, in the noble sense of the term.

Its design, and its complete “shelving” system, allow a total modularity of the furniture, to be able to make it evolve with time, and to personalize it according to its desires.

This display unit, with dedicated wine shelves for storing and displaying bottles, can also integrate built-in refrigerated cellars, cheese cellars, delicatessen cellars or cigar cellars. Good things always go together!

The Wine Merchant fits into any space. In your home, in your kitchen, your living room or dining room, or any room dedicated to wine... as well as in a professional environment: in your restaurant, your hotel or your tasting club.

This furniture is available in three lengths: 185, 245 or 305 cm. Either with 3, 4 or 5 modules. The height, 220 cm, and depth, 70 cm, remain unchanged. But it is also possible to make a custom-made model from existing ones. On request.

The top is made of solid oak, taken directly from a large log, of the highest quality, with as few knots as possible, worked on long strips, the whole length of the top. Its thickness is also unusual (45 mm compared to 38 mm for the standard worktop) and makes the top extremely robust, as do all the metal shelves and trims.
